There was much discussion over what we should have for dinner this week. Breakfast for dinner (specifically French toast) narrowly lost over a Southern Barbecue night. So, we'll do the breakfast thing next week on the 27th. In the mean time for this coming Wednesday please see the list below for ideas. Please post so everyone will know to expect you and what you'll be bringing.
Barbers will provide some BBQ pork ribs (and napkins).
baked beans
bread - cornbread, rolls, Texas toast
another slow cooked meat - brisket, chicken, etc.
green bean casserole
cole slaw
fried okra
mashed potatoes
potato salad
grilled or other veggies - zuchini, corn, broccoli, collard greens, tomatoes
deviled eggs
mac n cheese
black eyed peas
green / tossed salad
red beans and rice
dessert - cobbler, pie
Weller's have baked beans and some deep fried dills!
